Production Planner

Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking a Production Planner to join their team. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Manage the systems and processes for planning and scheduling inventory and resources
- Ensure customer requirements are met and profit targets are achieved
- Utilize the ERP System to plan and schedule production to consistently achieve on-time delivery
- Facilitate collaboration between sales, purchasing, engineering and operations
- Identify project prioritization that will meet customer expectations
- Assist in the development of strategic business plans
- Utilize available and implement new processes to proactively identify and communicate key business drivers and proposed solutions
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must have production planning and scheduling experience in an manufacturing environment
- Must be familiar with ERP Systems
- Excellent verbal and written commutation skills is required
- Must have strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to meet deadlines and commitments
- Must have a solid work history, with no attendance issues
