HR Assistant - Short-term

A manufacturing company is seeking a HR Assistant to help with record keeping, new hires, terminations, training paperwork, timecards, reports, attendance, and other duties. Additionally, the company is in the process of updating their performance management system, so you will be involved with this. This is a 3 to 6 month assignment and work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Qualified candidates must have basic HR experience, must have accurate data entry skills, must be computer literate, must be highly organized, must be intelligent with the ability to work in a very fast-paced environment, and must have a professional appearance and demeanor. Only candidates that can pass a background check and a drug screen will be considered. This would be a great opportunity for a Jr HR person, as it will allow them to gain a lot of knowledge and experience that will help them later on in finding a general HR position.
