International Customer Service Representative

This manufacturing company is offering an immediate full-time opportunity for International Customer Service Representative.   You will work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with periodic overtime. 

Job Duties:

  • Oversee success of domestic and international orders from order intake to shipment
  • Prepare and ensure appropriate international shipping documents are complete in accordance with laws, regulations, and standards
  • Work with the carriers to ensure outgoing shipments leave as scheduled, provide any required documentation, and handle both domestic and international shipments
  • Enter purchase orders, provide shipping estimates, accurate lead-times for all orders, and communicate with customers keeping them updated on orders
  • Process web orders quickly, send lead-time detail, and provide weight and dimensions as required
  • Participate in production/sales meetings
  • Respond to customer emails and phone calls within 24 hours, handle customer concerns or complaints, and find alternative solutions quickly
  • Provide updates as needed for B2B sites, set-up new customer accounts, and update, maintain, and create metrics to improve service to customers
  • Perform other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED and 4 year Degree is a preferred
  • Must have 3 to 5 years of experience working in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment
  • Must have experience with domestic and international shipments
  • Experience with commercial invoicing and freight forwarding for international shipments is needed
  • Must have experience working with Word, Excel, FedEx, and UPS Systems
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP System is a plus
  • Must have excellent written and verbally communication skills
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and effectively manage times
  • Must be detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Must have high level critical thinking and problem solving abilities
